Turntable and Cartridge Setup

If you have a record collection and a turntable, chances are good you're not getting the best sound your equipment has to offer. Proper cartridge alignment for azimuth, VTA (vertical tracking angle), overhang, "null points," and VTF (vertical tracking force) are critical to getting the best sound, along with correct levelling, chassis dampening, and base isolation.

Genesee Sound has the tools and expertise to set up your turntable right. The alignment can be done in your home or at our office. Pricing for turntable services may be viewed here. (P.S. — If your cartridge is worn, Genesee Sound can help you choose a new one that will be mechanically compatible with your tonearm and electrically compatible with your preamplifier.)
